Everyone has a story to tell.
But sometimes the stories we tell ourselves can negatively impact our lives in ways we don’t even realize. Maybe you’re stuck in a narrative that no longer serves you or maybe you’re ready to revise the parts that are holding you back from living the best version of yourself.
That’s where I come in.
My approach is about helping you recognize what your story means to you so you can decide which parts need rewriting. Clients tell me they feel seen, heard and respected when we work together.
I work with all ages and am especially drawn to supporting older adolescents, college and graduate students, young adults and professionals navigating life transitions. I also work with couples and individuals from diverse cultural and immigrant backgrounds experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, professional challenges, identity development and social struggles. Life is complicated, and the reality is we all can benefit from having a trusted counselor guide us through difficult times or unresolved feelings.
Outside of sessions, I’m still a musician at heart. I write my own music and perform for others because it allows me to express my creativity. I’m a visual person who enjoys photography and sci-fi movies. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I stay active by going to the gym and I practice meditation and mindfulness to keep clearheaded.
If you’re hesitant about starting therapy, I want you to know that you’ll be able to openly express yourself here without judgment. You’ll feel supported in dealing with issues that are difficult to talk about, and you can explore things you might feel uncomfortable sharing with people close to you. I’m patient and understanding of the different ways people communicate and I’m willing to adapt to whatever makes it easier for you to work through your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Be proud of wherever you are now in the life you’re building for yourself. And if you’re ready for a new story, let’s get started.
We’ve made it easy for you to get started right now.
