The spring semester of my freshman year, I hit a wall.

I was 19, completely lost about what I wanted to do with my life and my body was so dysregulated that I couldn’t sleep, eat or function normally. Should I chase the sports world I watched religiously? Climb the corporate ladder in fancy suits? I was in total disarray, spiraling in this chaos of uncertainty and questioning whether something was fundamentally wrong with me.

Then I had a lightbulb moment: how many other people were experiencing exactly what I was going through? That question changed everything because I found my calling in that vulnerable, messy moment when I was struggling the most.

One thing clients are always surprised by is my memory. If we had a conversation 10 years ago, I can tell you exactly what we talked about. I remember details, stories, the small things you mentioned in passing. That’s because I’m genuinely paying attention to who you are, not just what symptoms you’re presenting with. My therapy style runs like a well-oiled Cracker Barrel franchise – warm, fuzzy and always welcoming. You might come in feeling rough but you’ll leave feeling steadier, fuller and understood.

I work with adults ages 18-65 dealing with trauma, anxiety, and PTSD. I connect particularly well with Gen X, Gen Z, and older generations who want someone real to work with. I’m not going to “cure” you. Instead, I’ll be your mirror helping you see yourself more clearly so you can find the healing that’s already inside you.

Outside of sessions, you’ll find me in a Discord chat beating my friends at online hockey, climbing the next hiking trail on my bucket list, or baking organic banana bread on a Sunday evening. I’m really into living and eating organically because when your body feels good, your mind feels good too. My guilty pleasures are acai bowls with Nutella (trust me, just try it!) and rewatching Daredevil on Netflix for the umpteenth time (who’s counting though!)

I live and work by the Fight Club quote, “Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.” Personal growth and healing aren’t comfortable, but in the end it’s always worth it. You just have to be willing to show up for yourself and trust the process.
