“The therapist‑client relationship is the prime determinant of therapeutic change, guided and deepened by theory.” Carl Rogers
That quote captures a lot of what I believe about this work. Techniques matter, but much of what fosters change comes from the authentic relationship we build together.
Growing up across multiple continents, experiencing war, displacement, and rebuilding my life twice, and living in places where mental health was often taboo, I developed deep empathy and resilience long before formal training. These experiences shaped me into a compassionate, attentive listener who others naturally turn to for support.
Many people I work with struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, intrusive or obsessive thoughts, rigid thinking, relationship stress, trauma, or challenges managing life transitions and performance pressures. These difficulties can make everyday tasks feel heavy, exhausting, or confusing, and it’s common to feel unsure how to move forward. Therapy can provide a space to manage stress, process difficult emotions, and develop practical skills that help you feel more grounded, capable, and confident in your work, relationships, and personal goals.
I specialize in Obsessive-Compulsive disorders, difficulty managing thoughts, relationship stress, trauma, perfectionism, anxiety, life transitions, and performance challenges. My own experiences, combined with clinical training, including an internship at an OCD treatment center, allow me to bring insight that clinical knowledge alone cannot provide. I work with clients of all ages, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic therapy.
What excites me most is witnessing those moments when clients break free from patterns that have held them back and begin to coexist with their challenges, rather than being controlled by them. Therapy should be a space you look forward to, a place for reflection, growth, and building tools that truly work for you in your life.
